DISCO: Extensible Web resource DISCOvery, registration and interoperation framework
DISCO is an information integration approach designed to facilitate interoperation among Internet resources. It consists of a set of tools and services that allows resource providers who maintain information to share it with automated systems such as NIF. NIF is then able to "harvest" the information and keep those sets of information up-to-date.
<!--ARCHIVED VIEW--><span class="nifTabHeader"><a href="http://www.nitrc.org/ir/app/template/Index.vm" target="_blank">NITRC-IR</a> is an NITRC-hosted image repository (IR) to support NIfTI and DICOM neuroimaging data that is searchable by metadata, such as handedness and gender, across projects. NITRC-IR is powered by XNAT and contains over a dozen datasets, with thousands of subjects and imaging sessions. One such project is the <a href="http://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/index.html" target="_blank">1000 Functional Connectomes Project</a>.
